Paul Myers and Jonah Holmes grew up in Cary, North Carolina. Friends since elementary school, they shared two passions: local community and a search for the “perfect” pickle.
Tired of store bought jars that lacked personality and crunch, they spent 2024 experimenting in Paul’s kitchen. After dozens of batches and hundreds of tastings, Cary Crunch was born. Today, they handle every jar themselves, from slicing the cucumbers to delivering the pickles.

Jonah Holmes
Co-Founder & Brine Master
Jonah has been obsessed with the perfect ratio of vinegar to salt since he was eight years old. Growing up in Cary, he spent summers at the local farmers market learning from seasoned producers. He handles all recipe development and quality control.
